If you are interested in the pool, here's what you need to know:


  • Pick 3 numbers between 1 and 32.  You can use the same number more than once. These are your numbers for the whole season.  Once you pick them, you are done for the season – isn’t this easy
  • Prior to the first game of the season, each team will be assigned a random number.  The number will change each week.  For example: The Eagles can be #1 week 1 and #16 week 2
  • Your points for a week are the sum of the scores of the teams with your number.  If you have numbers 1,2,3 and those teams are Philadelphia, Dallas, Washington; your points for the week is the sum of the scores of those three teams
  • BYE week points are the average points scored in the previous season.  In 2021 that will be 22 points per game.
  • Prizes go to weekly winners and biggest prizes go to the top finishers for the season (typically top 3, but we have to see how many players we have) and a little goes to last place for the season.

Week 3 - Get the tin foil hats out

 Sorry, this is late.  I thought I would be home today, but maybe tomorrow.  Since I have nothing to do here and people have mentioned they want the email (I saw your text Lee), here it is.  Please accept my apologies for this as the pain meds still have me a little foggy.  By the way, it went well and all the marbles have been replaced. So on Sunday after I watched the Eagles beat the crap out of the Washington Commies, I was noticing a bunch of low scores {TB 12 vs. GB 14, Denver 11 vs. SF 10).  But, the average score for the week was still 20.31, slightly under the prior weeks.  So I guess Jacksonville putting up 38 made up for The Bays being under 15. This week's winner rode the Atlanta Falcons (27) and Baltimore twice (37 *2 = 74) for a score of 101.  It was not even close.  Next closest was Natalee Costello with 91 and Dan Ciano had 90.  So Lee Paciello, your text to Mirna paid off and you won the week.  Now you can buy t...

9/8 - Morning Update - Mission Accomplished

 It's here!  The start of the season is tonight.  Also, the PFE officially kicks off (Pool for Everyone if you are new). I put the challenge out to get to 50.  And Lucas (Thomas) Paine stepped up with 3 new people (and Lucas is new!!).  I thought he was well on the way to the $5 prize for most new people.  Last night Kevin "KMatt" Matthews said, "Hold my beer."  With 7 new entrants, not only did KMatt take the lead on most new people, we passed the 50 entrant mark.  We have 51!  This is no small accomplishment.  I think not since Cool Hand Luke has 50 been so impressive (Cool Hand Luke was a movie from 1967 with Paul Newman - it holds up so go watch it).
