Week 12 - Tryptophan rules

Sorry for the delayed email this week.  My editor was slow in editing so her comments will be included.  I know this could be distracting, but there are certain things you don't want to see: how sausage is made, how a bill becomes a law (although I have tried to educate many of you on this) and how PFE posts are written.  For those of you who do not know my editor, Mary Hamrum, she has edited books for Stephen Ambrose and David McCullough. (Editor's Note: Not true).  I also want to thank you for all the responses from last week, it was overwhelming.  (Editor's Note: Not one person responded, no one reads this drivel).

The reason for the title is there were several games that were as exciting as watching astroturf grow.  (Editor's Note: Astroturf cannot grow!  Time to get out the vodka).  You had Bears-Lions 16-14 (you just needed a tiger for lions and tigers and bears, oh my!).  (Editor's Note: Really?  What an ass hat). and Cleveland/Baltimore 16-10.  If the tryptophan didn't put you to sleep, these games did.  Oh, I forgot the NYG/Philadelphia 13-7 game where Roman Gabriel had 5 picks.  (Editor's Note: Roman Gabriel hasn't played since the 70's, Jalen Hurts had 4 picks and I am onto my second bottle of vodka).

Who won the week?  Frank Palmieri....come on down.  I realized you were not on all the emails last week and to get revenge you won the week.  (Editor's Note: Why would he want revenge for not being included on this insanity).  Frank rode the Vikings (26), Packers (36), and Bengals (41) to 103.  He narrowly bested Vic DeVasto who had the Packers (36), 49ers (34) and Washington Sentinels (31) for 101.  (Editor's Note, the Sentinels are from the movie The Replacements, Vic had the Bills, who did have 31, and I (Bleep)ing quit!).  Tejas Desai had a tough week with the Browns * 3 or 30 points.

Overall:
1) Drew Costello - 934
2) Brian Costello - 899
3) Bowen Knarr - 881

The Harry Mumma Memorial Last Place Award (Editor's Note: You aren't dead...yet, but if wishing made it so)
Lee Paciello - 726

Have a good week.

Harry
