9/8 - Morning Update - Mission Accomplished

 It's here!  The start of the season is tonight.  Also, the PFE officially kicks off (Pool for Everyone if you are new).

I put the challenge out to get to 50.  And Lucas (Thomas) Paine stepped up with 3 new people (and Lucas is new!!).  I thought he was well on the way to the $5 prize for most new people.  Last night Kevin "KMatt" Matthews said, "Hold my beer."  With 7 new entrants, not only did KMatt take the lead on most new people, we passed the 50 entrant mark.  We have 51!  This is no small accomplishment.  I think not since Cool Hand Luke has 50 been so impressive (Cool Hand Luke was a movie from 1967 with Paul Newman - it holds up so go watch it).

Now some people change their numbers because they were too close to others.  So do me a favor and check your numbers today, please.  The number assignments will be sent out tonight right around kickoff and I will work on payouts today (all suggestions welcome, even from Dolnick).

PFE 2023 - Update as of 8/25

  Well, it is only 2 weeks (less than that even) until the Wonderful World of NFL Football returns.  I would like to say hello to everyone from PFE's southern HQ (we are on vacation).  We have 34 participants so far and some new people.  We also have some odd number combinations.  Yours truly has gone the El Diablo route of 6, 6, 6.  We also have Adam Kastin lurking like a great white under the waves waiting to strike at the perfect numbers that are available (yes we watched Jaws this week).  Kathy Khan (nee Garstka) went old school and delegated the number selection process to family.  Bowen Knarr used ChatGPT and submitted 33 as a number....so it is just a matter of time before Cyberdyne Corporation's SkyNet unleashes the T-5000's on us.  (Please tell me you watched The Terminator!)   Anyway, here are the participants to date and number selections.  If you do not see your name please let me know if you would like to participate....
